1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator. Original California car, second owner. Eliminator package, hard top, 351-4V with FMX auto trans., air conditioning, hi-back bucket seats. Purchased with light damage in rear. Repaired and repainted in 2001. Good driver. Has some nicks and chips. New front end kit. Needs a little TLC. Will provide additional photos and information upon request. Of the 72,365 Cougars in the 1970 model year; 49,479 were Cougar hard tops. Of them, 2,267 were equipped with the Eliminator Package. 1,425 of these came with the 351-4V engine. Of those, 955 had FMX automatic Transmissions. 45 of them were painted Pastel Blue, of which 5 had Black Standard Bucket Seats.
