Vehicle description

1970 HEMI CHARGER RT/SE 4 speed
Chrysler produced only 112 Hemi Chargers for the 1970 production run. According to the article in muscle car classics from June of 1990 only 13 RT/SE Chargers were built and only 4 of those were 4 speed cars. Back in the day the SE Charger was referred to as the gentleman,s hot rod. This car is equipped with a 410 dana and a 18 spline 4 speed tranny that is numbers matching. The 8-10-69 cast Hemi engine is an unstamped warranty block. The engine was completely rebuilt in 2010 at the start of the restoration. The restoration took 3 years and was completed in 2013. This car has only been driven about 400 miles since being restored. This Charger has it"s original fender tag and has two original build sheets. This car has correct 1970 4 speed carbs, 956 radiator, date coded plug wires and wiper motor along with date coded mufflers and resonators. This Charger is believed to be one of one green Charger R/T S/E with a saddle interior and a 4 speed.I am listing this car for a friend of mine and any and all questions call Greg 314 791 3899
Mechanically this car is well sorted out. It fires right up with a turn of the key. it has very good throttle response and pulls hard. I believe the engine to be a little stronger then stock. It drives down the road nicely with no wandering or clunks. with the clutch and shifting all performing well. The brakes stop this car as they should. All lights turn signals etc. are working properly
The body on this car is very nice. The gaps are very good and the body is flat and straight. This is a factory undercoated car. All chrome and stainless have either been re chromed or polished. All glass is nice and roll up and down nicely and fit well to each other. As with any car there are a few very minor imperfections. I would think any perspective buyer would call and discuss with Greg.
The interior is a blend of new and original. I believe the dash, door panels, and gauges to be original and maybe the leather seats. All interior functions i.e. gauges, heater controls, are working well.
This Charger is being sold where is as is with no warranties written expressed or implied. I would think that on a car of this caliper any perspective buyer would call Greg at 314 791 3899 Partial Mopar trades and offers considered. This Charger is located only 12 miles from the assembly plant in St louis where it was built and where the current owner retired from.
