Letting go of this Amazing truck - very few trucks like this left - appreciating in value daily! ! So much has been done to this truck it"s hard to know where to start but here it goes. .
Completely Rebuilt, original 4-Bolt Main 350! Professionally "hot tanked" and bored .30 over by local machine shop that has been doing this for 40 years! I have the receipt.
New cam/crank, bearings, connecting rods, lifters, pistons, rings, etc. .
New "WORLD" heads.
New chrome valve covers and chrome air cleaner and filter.
New oil pan/pump and gasket.
New motor mounts
Aluminum intake manifold with Rebuilt Q-Jet carb (original).
New plugs/wires/HEI ignition.
Trans oil cooler.
New brake booster and brake lines. All 4 drum brakes totally rebuilt.
New battery with all new cables/grounds/terminals/knife style cutoff switch for extended storage.
All new wiring from front to back - Ignition switch/headlights/engine bay/interior and tail lamps.
Fuel tank cleaned inside with new pick-up/fuel lines and fuel pump.
New harmonic balancer/belts/hoses/flex fan/power steering lines, etc.
New beautiful chrome front grill/headlights/headlight bezels/running lamps/lenses.
All new shocks(4), bushings/ball joints/sway bar bushings etc.
New under hood cross bar padding and new hood/cab seal.
New windshield washer/fluid system/hoses.
New "GMC" badges and emblems.
New "wood paneling" lower trim set.
New heavy duty tires.
Rear end gear oil/gasket new.
New trans pan gasket + filter.
Matching Original "Black Plates" - restored - not the "new custom" black plates.
New door handles inside and out.
New side view mirrors.
New window felt, New door weatherstripping, rebuilt "wing window" assembly with new rubber.
Vapor barrier installed under door panels.
New correct loop style carpet kit, new seat with padding, new seat belts, new dash pad and sound insulation.
New climate control unit with new linkage - being made of "pot metal" the originals ones are typically broken.
New dome light, courtesy lights, rear view mirror.
I installed a voltmeter to more accurately monitor battery performance. This is the only non-stock gauge.
New set of correct GM key blanks.
Rain gutters have all been re-sealed.
RAPTOR spray bedliner tinted to perfectly match truck color.(see pic)
All new "ground wires" - 5 total.
Undercarriage steam cleaned and re-rubber coated.
New tail lamps/back-up lamps.
Believe it or not I"m sure I forgot a few things. . The truck is beautiful and runs like a Swiss Watch! These trucks are becoming very hard to find. I"m sorry to see her go, but I have to move on to another chapter. I have 2 years wrapped up in restoring this truck. I know the next owner will appreciate all the "little things" I"ve done to make this truck special. .
