Vehicle description
RELISTING WITH LOWER RESERVE this solid 1970 Mustang Fastback - 351 Cleveland V8 engine, 4 barrel Edlebrock carburetor and Automatic transmission and power brakes and power steering. Runs and drives great! Interior is very nice and the car overall presents itself as a nice driver quality car as it is or would be a great candidate for a awesome “restomod” or just enjoy it as it is. This car sports all the right era original pieces and look—chin spoiler, hood scoop, styled steel wheels, rear louvres, dual exhaust, and rear wing—combined with the period Cleveland V8 this Mustang also has the power and great sound to match the performance look! The dual exhaust has a very nice muscular but not too harsh sound. The body is straight with only a few small areas that show blemishes. The door data plate is missing but we did run a Marti report (see photos) for the car. The report shows this was originally a 302 V8 automatic car. The 302 has been replaced with the Cleveland. Floors, rocker panels, torque boxes are all original and solid with no indication of rust problems. The rear quarter panel lower section were replaced years ago and are solid. The car was originally a green fastback but was repainted white 20+ years ago—not Concours paint quality but presentable for its age. The car has been in the dry climate of south eastern Washington for a big part of its life and owned by the same grandfather and grandson for the past 20 years- -they acquired if locally as well. The odometer shows just 34,049 miles on it. 1970 Mach 1’s and Boss 302’s values are going through the roof. This Mustang gives you the look, feel, and performance without having to pay the price for a similar condition example of one of those models. The car is also advertised locally so we reserve the right to end the auction early. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions or request additional photos.
