Vehicle description
Vehicle Details Up for Auction is my 1970 Mustang Fastback. This is a project car . These 1969/1970 Mustang project cars are getting harder to find. The car is an original 302 V-8 automatic car. The Good:fenders: front end, front frame rails, rear frame rails seem fine also, rear torque boxes, inner and outer rockers, hood, back glass, truck area ok. This is a folddown rear seat car, The not so Good: -Needs new floors installed. The LH and Rh new pans are included. - the lower rear quarters need fixing.- the firewall need repair or replace. I do have a firewall section from another 1970 included if you want it- Something is going on with the roof panel, I have no idea if the previous owner was prepping to install the used roof skin that is included, the roof skin may or may not have been been replaced already, but there are lots of dents in the roof skin like a kid danced on it or hail was raining down on it. but something needs to be done with the roof. This has always been a fasback. the VIN number on the VIN tag matches the title and the RH apron stamped number. other notes:The car rolls nicely and steers ok. There is an original steering wheel and column that comes with the sale.-The car is strong and will travel on a transport truck fine. the hood is not attached and will be placed inside along with the back glass for travel. there are no front nor rear seats. The dash is included. it was taken off most likely to work on the firewall.Pictured are all the original parts that are included. There is no side nor front glass. The doors are solid but will need some work on the bottom. The LH front torque box will need replacing. the RH torque may not need replacing. The transmission is gone.I do have a 1969 302 that I will sell to the winning bidder for and extra $300. The engine turns by hand fine and is complete. I dont want to put it in the sale upfront just because the new owner may or may not want it. If you want the engine, I would need to figure out a way to put it in the engine bay unless you pick up the car on a trailer that we can place the engine next to the car.The car is a full restoration project. these fastbacks are great looking and demand a lot of money when they are done. either restomod or back to factory. I took some real good picture so you can see the car as a whole. It does not appear to have been in an accient , nor has it been restored before.( I dont know what happened to the roof ) I tried to explain as much as I can and am hiding nothing. Send me any questions you want. if you go into the project with the expection that you will need to repair or replace everything, then you will not be disappointed. It has a clean and clear title. it has the original matching dash VIN tag.I need a $400 immediate deposit when buying it. I need the full payment within a week. I need the full price no matter if you send some truck for it or come yourself. In other words, the price at the end of the sale is the final price. The car is sold AS-IS. I have no problem selling the car overseas. I just need the money in the same time frame. and the car picked up within a real reasonable time frame. I can help get the car loaded, and working with your car carrier, but arranging and paying for transportation is all up to the buyer. The car is stored inside, but the snow will start flying soon.I love this timeless body style. I am at a stage in life with no time nor engergy to complete this project. A great Christmas present for someone. Thanks for looking and bidding Images Download the Motors app
