Vehicle Details Here goes this 1970 Ford Escort mk1 project car. I recently acquired this car in a trade so I will list all I know about it . The Escort is located here in Sunrise Florida with a clear Florida title. I am listing as a project because it will need some restoration work fortunately though all panels that are needed are readily available. I have purchased new replacement body panels for my other projects and I am quite pleased with the quality of the reproduction panels. I can assist with locating the parts if that's necessary. As can be seen in the pictures there are some rust however the car is structurally sound. The Escort is powered by a Toyota 4AGE 16 valve engine and is backed up a T50 Toyota 5 speed gearbox that shifts as it should with no pop outs. The differential looks to be a Toyota corolla GTS diff with disk brakes (this is unconfirmed) also seems to be positraction or welded . The car runs and drives I have seen no leaks or overheating but may need some going through. The interior has its original dash, headliner and rear seat. The front seat are from another vehicle however I am not able to identify them. The car also has all its original glass with no cracks does have some tint residue. There is also a custom a.c. system in the car that blows but could use some freon. Another custom touch in this Escort are the power windows unfortunately not currently working. Headlights and rear lights works as they should. Please look closely at all pictures and feel free to contact me with any questions I will try to answer to the best of my ability.
