Vehicle description
Up for auction is a 1970 Ford Bronco with a 302 V8 and 3-speed transmission, converted to a floor shifter. The story I received on this one is that the farmer who owned it took it off the road in 1983. He proceeded to begin a restoration on it, but abandoned it shortly after. It has sat since then. Note there is NO TITLE, this will be sold on a bill of sale ONLY. This Bronco is actually in really nice shape, the floors were replaced at one time (they need to be done again). The door posts are pretty solid, a few holes here and there, but the doors shut nicely. The inner kick panels are really solid, which is hard to find! Note the outside door handles seem to be disconnected as they don"t actually open the doors. The passenger quarter glass is missing, and the lift gate glass is cracked. The bronco rolls nicely, however brakes are not working. Engine condition is unknown, it has aftermarket finned valve covers and a Holley carburetor. The frame appears to be in really nice shape, there is no rot in the rear where they always seem to rust. Rockers look solid, and the rear cargo area looks really solid as well. The tailgate is absolute junk (they always rust out). The top has the hard-to-find drip rail chrome. This Bronco has the rare "ranch hand" spare tire mount (locks onto the passenger quarter, leaving the tailgate area clear). Please look past the horrible 90"s 17" rims!
