The Famous " GUMBY " is offered for sale. This car is well known in the Pacific Northwest Hillclimb circuit many class records always a contender. The car is also a great trackday car. Could easily be made to comply to GT3 class. Engine: Rebello L18 dyno tested to 210 hp 14:1 compression ratio and has since been improved with further work to the cylinder head , total seal piston rings and much lighter clutch assembly. Camshaft spray bar Corrillo rods J & E forged pistons cylinder bores " O " ringed Issihara-Johnson crank scraper on both up and down strokes Design Products ( DP ) large capacity competition Oil pan with windage tray and trap doors, baffled. Cylinder head: A87 280zx valves with 5 angle grind 45mm inlet 33mm exhaust swirl polished, Combustion chamber relieved to unshroud valves, Lighten and polished matched competition cam rockers, Bronze valve guides B G3DE cam .530 lift, 260 degrees duration, springs 100# at seat 240# at full lift
Exhaust: Nismo header 2 1/2 dia. Magnaflow muffler.
Cooling System: Saldang custom oversize radiator, thermostatic fan with manual overide
Fuel system: Twin 44 Mikunis, pressure regulator and gage, Jaz 12 gal. fuel cell, Holly redtop pump. Adjustable throttle pedal stop.
Ignition system: MSD 6AL Ignition with rev limiter, Datsun CD distributor, Optima battery.
Gearbox: 280ZX 5 speed. 5 1/2" dia. Quartermaster twin plate clutch, automatic transmission flex plate. Clutch pedal fitted with adjustable stop.
Final Drive Special Nismo competition differential R190, very rare hard to find, limited slip, 4.44:1
Front Suspension and brakes: Gound Control camber plates, Adjustable control arms, Eibach 2.5" dia springs, Koni adjustable shocks, shortened struts adjustable perch, D P modified for 4 piston Wilwood Dynalite calipers, aluminum rotor mounting hats, 10.25 dia" x .81" thk. vented rotors. Fully adjustable 1"dia. sway bar, front cross member re-enforced. Mad Dad steering box brace. Triangulated shock tower brace.
Rear Suspension and brakes: Solid mount cross member kit, rear control arm solid bushing adjustable toe and camber. Koni adjustable shocks, shortened struts, lower spring adjustable perch , Outlaw disc brakes 200 SX rotors. Adjustable 3/4" dia rear sway bar.
Braking System: Willwood pedal box, with balance bar, proportioning valve, front and rear pressure gages
Body: Full roll cage, fire extinguisher, electrical cut out switch. electrical dash panel individual switches for ignition, fuel pump, gauges, fan and brake lights. 5" Autometer Tachometer with shift light, water , oil temperature gages, oil pressure , volt metre, Wink rearview mirror, window net, 5 point safety harness. 2 Dad racing seats. Fiberglass hood, trunk and fenders, lexan windows. Fiberglass air dam with brake cooling vents.
