Vehicle description
Jeep Details:
225 v6 Buick Dauntless New Front Disks and Rebuilt Rear Drums Great Original Steel Body and Frame Approximately 3-inch suspension lift (Rancho) Like new Pro Comp All Terrain - 33x12.5 r15 3 Speed W/ Factory Warn Overdrive Ramsey Winch Headers Bestop Soft Top Bikini Top Rugged Ridge Tubular Side Steps Matching rear seat (not picture) 4x4 works well and locking hubs engage very easy
Additional Work: The only visible rust is localized and on the Jeep is on the drivers side floor pan. Replacing the floor pans is a pretty quick and easy fix. There is also a small patch that has been fixed and painted above the front fender on the driver side. I’m happy to provide a picture.* * Turn signal switch works but there may be a connection problem. Rear window of Bestop soft top has tear. This could easily be fixed or replaced. Ramsey winch motor is in great working shape Brand New Front Disk Brakes w/Rebuilt Rear Drums and New Master Cylinder Gas tank does not have a sending unit so the gas gauge does not work. Everything else works well This Jeep is about 3/4 of the way to being totally restored. Needs someone to finish the work I’ll throw in a Hayes Jeep CJ manual, retro shift pattern stickers, and brand new hood catches
Added some additional pics to show the floor pan rust. This is under the drivers seat and is were the original gas tank was located. My plan was to repair floor by welding and install a drivers side tank, making a dual tank system. To make the best repair I would remove the tub.
Left Side surface rust on the fender. This is the worst example very little anywhere else on the body,
Included a pic of the roof, sorry it has snow on it. Only picture I had the roof is in good shape with the exception of a cut on the back window it is taped. Could be replaced or use as is.
