1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible Project
- Very nice factory options red on red with white top, bucket seats and console, 12 bolt rear, am/for stereo
- build your $125k+ Ls6 4 speed Convertible RED on RED dream car everything is there to do it - March 70 dated Ls6 512 block with 291 square port heads, factory 569 winters low rise intake manifold, new crankshaft in the box, 4 spd bellhousing, Muncie 4 speed transmission, factory 12 bolt rear still in the car dated to the car, factory original super sport 14 inch wheels, new cowl induction flapper hood
- with that said the car has all the normal rust that these cars have, needs quarters, floor pans etc. . car has good bones for the build. Engine needs full build, new crankshaft but needs all other internals. The VIN plate is in excellent condition and was protected by the windshield. Car has a clean maryland title.
- blue sticker in jamb still present with vin number and 10/69 build date for body. 512 LS6 engine block has a March 1970 build date on it. Full disclosure the heads are correct square port with 291 casting part numbers but are dated 1975 and must be over the counter dealer replacement heads. Correct original 569 casting intake in good condition.
- we will prepare the car for shipping by bolting the engine together, attaching the bellhousing and transmission and bolting it in the car for shipping. All tires hold air and car rolls freely
