1970 Chevy Nova with a big block rebuilt 454 engine and rebuilt Muncie 4-Speed manual transmission. This car is a daily driver or it can be taken to the track for increased fun. This car was originally equipped with a small block engine and automatic transmission, with power steering, power brakes and factory air. This car was sold new at local dealership in Lebanon, TN and has remained in the same area. I obtained this car from the second owner. It was in average condition for it"s age. The car has been completely dissembled- removing sub frame, rear end, and only leaving the shell of the car which was stripped and sanded top and bottom. Under carriage of car has been painted. Floor pans in good shape, the rear quarters were replaced along with rear inner fenders. Front fenders had a quarter sized rust spot which was replaced with new welded metal. The rear tail pan was replaced due to a dent. The doors and the top of the car are in great shape. Original hood was replaced with a cowl hood and new deck lid installed. The body of the car only needs to be block sanded and painted. The bare metal was treated with metal etching primer, then sprayed with sealer. The body was then re-sanded and sprayed with several coats of primers and block sanding between coats. Car has been converted to big block 4 speed car that required modifications to make it fit correctly for the year. This includes all new clutch and brake pedal assembly, new sub frame engine mounts and used correct exhaust manifolds for the year. AC evaporator box had to be changed for clearance of the big block. ENGINE New rebuilt 454 engine with all chrome and aluminum accessories, elderbrock carburetor and HEI distributor, new aluminum radiator with electric fan, new battery, hoses, belts and cables TRANSMISSION Rebuilt 1967 muncie 4 speed. New clutch pressure plate, fly wheel and throw out bearing with new drive shaft, joints and yoke. New hurst 4 speed shifter for bench seat REAR END Rebuilt 10 bolt pos unit with new brakes and shocks, new shackles and spring bushings and bolts. New parking brake cables BRAKES Drum brakes, new wheel cylinders and lines. New chrome brake booster and master cylinder INTERIOR New carpet, pad, door panels, emblems, rear panels and sun deck. Seats are in good condition with the exception of small hole in drivers side. New window channel, fuzzies and vent window rubber seals NEW PARTS LIST heater core, heater fan, windshield wiper motor, inside window cranks, outside door handles and locks, tail light assemblies, side marker light assemblies, hood moldings, emblems, eyebrow moldings, S.S grill, S.S emblem, S.S tail pan molding, 396 emblems, bumpers and bolts, license plate light, front turn and parking lights, gas tank and sending unit with straps, vinyl top moldings, drip rail moldings, door and quarter window outside moldings and front grill pan. Many more items not listed. GLASS all stainless is excellent, door and window glass are in good condition, small crack in front windshield, had plans to remove and install vinyl top EXHAUST New 2 1/2 inch with Flow Masters complete to rear bumper
