The not to distant worlds of traditional Hot Rodding and Cal-look Volswagen come together in this 1969 Volkswagen Squareback Baja. The Type 3 wagon is powered by the famously tunable air cooled flat 4 cylinder engine linked to a 4 speed transaxle and finished off with a classic performance VW muffler. The exterior melds the black paint and gloss red pinstriping of the traditional Hot Rodding scene with chrome headlight eyelids, luggage rack and requisite surf board of the custom VW realm. Trunk and rear chrome bumpers are equipped with bumper guards. The red interior features of a classic bamboo package tray with hula girl, Baja blanket seat covers, VDO gauges abd a push button AM radio. Dual rear view mirrors help keep an eye on the road or cool waves. The Squareback rolls on VW suspension and steel 4 lug rear wheels with chrome bullet style lug nuts.
