Vehicle description
Well-loved bug, in excellent condition. Third owner, garaged it’s whole life, and very well maintained. This is a solid car. Reliable, starts every time, and has many years of driving ahead of it. It easily does 65 on the freeway, great on hills, and around town. If you are looking for a trouble-free bug, and don’t mind a few cosmetic imperfections, this is the beetle for you.
This car has a total of 151,000 miles on it, with 63,000 on the new engine. It had a very tasteful restoration at 100k(see below for details) It has rare original beetle floor mats, new roof rack, new tires, tight headliner, after-market tachometer and gauges, and a solid floor plate. Stock 12 volt.
Known Flaws: The paint looks excellent to the casual observer. On closer inspection there are two paint scratches, one on the driver door, and one at the gas cap, a few 1/4” rock chips; paint flaking under front bumper, and four areas of 1/4” to 3/4” superficial rust (drivers fender, and along the passenger rain channel) . Front bumper has slight dent in it, which is how I bought it. Happy to provide close-up photos of these upon request.
Selling because I’ve bought a 4x4 classic mountain ride and this beetle needs to find new home after 12 years.
I have all maintenance receipts, records, and oil changes from my ownership, and a few from the previous owner. VIN 119873369 Eng#H5580235 No warranty. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick-up or shipping. Call (206) nine31 9918 for specific questions, request more photos etc.
