Vehicle description
1969 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic/Baja Bug . Condition is Used. For sale is my 1969 Volkswagen beetle that I converted intoa Baja Bug. Rebuilt motor with 2000 miles on it. Runs and drivesperfect. 1641cc Dual Port Motor. No radio. I am probably missing something, but feel free to ask anyquestions or for more Pictures! BUYER PAYS AND ORGANIZES SHIPPING OR LOCAL PICKUP If shipped it must be by flatbed as there is no steering wheel lock This is a great vehicle if you are looking to get a Baja tofinish and customize to your own preferences. I am selling this car because I simply do not drive itenough and no longer have the passion, money, or time to work on it, so justlooking to move on from it. Converted to electronic fuel pump as the mechanical one hadfailed. Work I have done: Rewired the entire car front to back. Replace front axle and converted front brakes to discbrakes. Cut off front of car and replaced with Baja style front. Cut off back of car. Replaced all fenders with the Baja Fenders. Installed new 90 Amp alternator to replace generator. Rhinolined the interior. Removed back seat. Replaced seats, but they need to be replaced as upholsteryruined in the sun. Repaired the dash cluster and added new gauges although theyare not hooked up. Got Baja Bumpers and have the side bumpers, all powdercoated red. Installed new lights all around, only the lightbar on top isnot hooked up but I have left a switch for it. Installed new ignition and removed old style of switches andmade a new switch panel. Removed wiper motors, there is a switch and relay for them, just not installed. Work that it needs to be completed: All gauges hooked up and the sensors for them. Paint. Lightbar on roof wired up (Easy spot to wire it into). Wiper motors installed and wired. Brake lights are not working, I believe the slave cylinderneeds replacing or is leaking. Seats need replacing.
