Vehicle Details 1969 Toyopet (Toyota) Corona Deluxe 20000+/- Kilometers Under 13000 Miles(average 250 miles a year). Amazing Shape All Around. Shipped from Japan, it has Right Hand Steering and a Three Speed Transmission on the Column. So new looking, it has the dealer plastic covering over the 3 out of 4 of the door panels and visors. Tool kit looks brand new and is complete. This is unusual for a car of this age. It starts and runs great. Comes with many manuals, books, a few parts and new white wall tires if one would like for show days. It has the 2R engine that looks and runs without fail. The body and paint look great and the interior is near perfect. This is a ready to drive, display or whatever you want to do car. It is original without mods. It has the Japanese toll-reader thing that says something in Japanese when you start the car. Seats are perfect. The three speed transmission has plenty of go and it shifts smoothly. It is a really clean example of a somewhat forgotten gem from Japan. The stereo is Japanese tuning, but you can get AM and a few FM stations. All electronics work great*. The odometer works *but the trip meter does not. There is some chrome wear/pitting around the front light bezel and could be re-chromed with great results. By looking at the overall condition of the car, I believed and bought the car on the accuracy of the description, but cannot guarantee the accuracy of the odometer after 52 years, although it IS adding miles every time I drive it. I had the car shipped from Japan to Newport News Virginia two years ago and have had zero issues, which is blanking amazing considering what can go wrong when buying a car from overseas without personally inspecting it.
