Vehicle description
Rutledge Wood TV STAR from Lost in Transmission and Top Gear was the mind behind this microcar. He signed the glove box. No Reserve I was told by several people there are less than 200 of these on the road in the USA. This Subaru has had, Front disc brakes chassis, Engine and transmission upgraded. This will be a great car to putter around in and tinker on. Micro cars are increasing in value. These are great investments cute neat and get a lot of attention. Do not buy this van if you are shy and don"t want to be noticed. Everywhere you go someone will ask what it is or tell you how they love it. People will want to take their picture with it. I dont have a title and cant find vin but I know these can be registered for the road. I am starting the price low because I have no title. I entered 9s for VIN. The seats and interior panels have all been redone anlong with carpeting and headliner. With some work this could be the neatest little van. Turning radius is limited maybe a different rack for front. Althought this runs and it drives I am selling it as non operable for safety reasons. The linkage that puts in in gear was fabricated when they upgraded the engine and transmission with and electric switch and is really cool but I have no time to sort it out. looks like it is missing a nut and needs to be aligned. All the bad I mentioned and this vehicle is still worht three times my starting price. Car is posted locally for 19,000 and I reserve the right to end auction early. I might actually take time to fix linkage. Feel free to ask any questions. http:/ www.therutledgewood.com/bio/ Top Gear Host and Star of Lost in Transmission Rutledge Wood’s passion for cars and motorsports started at a early age; learning from his father the business of buying, restoring and selling vehicles both new and old. Rutledge’s first experience in NASCAR came during his first job in entertainment: traveling with the NASCAR circuit for Country Music Television’s mobile marketing activation. Soon after, Rutledge was hired by SPEED TV, (now FoxSports 1) where he worked for 10 seasons covering NASCAR. He was a correspondent for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series pre-race show, NASCAR RaceDay , and has hosted or co-hosted various NASCAR shows and events for Fox Sports, including SPEED Road Tour Challenge , NASCAR Smarts , and NASCAR Live , as well as the annual NASCAR Awards Banquet.
