I have sold 4 of my cars over the last few months and I saved the best for last. I have owned 11 Porsche 911s over the years, including a 964, 930, 997.1 GT3 RS, RSR, and several of the daily driver variety. This one ranks as one of my all time favorites due to its simplicity, rawness and overall fun factor. Details below:
Car started as an Original 1969 911T tub Roughly 1000 miles since Resto completed in 2015 All metal body, with build focused on aesthetic and weight savings in addition to handling.
Engine 2.7L 7R Magnesium case Weber 46 IDA carbs JE 10.5:1 90mm pistons Replaced Nikasil Mahle cylinders DC40 “Mod-S” cams ARP steel head studs ARP connecting rod nuts/bolts Balanced crankshaft, clutch and flywheel Headers w/ Leistritz muffler (sounds amazing) Large capacity front mounted oil cooler (2) air filter setups: Rainhats w/ K&N filters / ITG foam filters
