1969 Ford Mustang Convertible! V-8 Auto Transmission Power Disc Brakes Power Steering Power Top
You are bidding on a 1969 mustang convertible. This car seems to be an older restoration that was done in an amateur fashion. We took this car in on a partial trade for one of our fully restored Mustangs. I would consider this Mustang somewhere in between a daily driver and a restoration project. It would not take much to make this car a daily driver, however it basically could use a restoration or restore as you drive etc. The car still presents fairly well but the undercarriage and frame has been patched up using angle iron pieces, misc. steel welded in etc. There are still a few areas that will need some attention to make it a solid driver. If on the other hand you wanted to do a super nice restoration this car would need new floors inner rockers some rails torque boxes etc. As it is currently, overall the car looks nice with older white paint and nice black newer looking interior. The car has pretty nice body, very solid doors, hood, deck, and fenders. Minimal visible rust, with minor dings and dents on the body. The quarter panels have been replaced at some point and are still in very good condition. The car has a newer black power top, new bumpers decent chrome, decent wheels and tires. This car is a nicely optioned mustang original 302 V-8 car with c-4 automatic transmission, ( was manual transmission originally) power steering, and power brakes. All electrical components in good working condition. The car runs very well but pulls to the right a bit. Should probably have the brakes looked at prior to driving regularly. Also, there is a bit of an oil leak from the oil pan. Again, this car could be a decent daily driver with minimal work but there has been extensive patching underneath, so this car will never have an excellent undercarriage unless you plan on redoing the entire undercarriage with all new parts.
