1969 Mercury Marquis Convertible
1969 Mercury Marquis Convertible with rare 429 cu.in Mercury Marauder motor and automatic transmission. Only 63,052 original miles! This car runs, drives, shifts and stops as it should. Original seats and door panels are very nice and rip free! Dash pad is also in very nice condition and crack free! The carpet appears to have been replaced at some point and is very presentable. The wipers, horn, lights, turn signals and fuel gauge all work great! It looks like the car may have had a repaint in the past. It does have its share of scratches and dings but is rust free and a presentable 20 footer. Frame, and floors are solid. Trunk does have a hole on the side (see picture). Drivers door was replaced at some point as it is a crank window door vs electric. Both drivers side windows need some repair work. Original hide-a-way headlights work great! Convertible top works! Original top is still presentable. Glass window has fallen out (will secure in place temporarily for transport) original wheel covers! Bumpers are in very nice shape! Also has original hub caps. This car can be driven as is now or would be a good candidate for a restoration. Here is a chance to get a classic convertible at a great price! This will be a good old fashioned "NO RESERVE" auction! !
