Vehicle description
1969 Lincoln Mark III with 76k original miles. Looks, runs and drives excellent! Straight as an arrow. Solid as a rock. It"s not a trailer queen show car. But it is an excellent driver.
All 4 power windows work. Passenger front goes up a little slow at times. Both power seats, locks, headlight doors, antenna and radio work. Radio only on AM. Headlight doors will rise when sitting a few days. But as soon as started go and remain down.
Rebuilt carb, new mufflers and tail pipes in 2020. New battery, cables and starter solenoid 2019. Gas tank float level and driver door window switch in 2018.
I had the top side of the car stripped, repainted, wet sanded and buffed last year. This was due to the original paint on top fading and checking in areas on the hood, cowl and deck lid. It came out very nice! The original canvas top still looks great! The sides of the car still look very nice. I covered the faded original white painted paint stripes with vinyl stripes. So if you don"t like it. It"s easily removed. The car also still has the original trunk insulation and carpet matting.
The interior is exceptionally clean. The rear seat looks like it"s never been sat in. Carpet and headliner are excellent. As are the door and 1/4 side panels. Driver front seat bottom has some wear. You can see it in the photos. The upper part of the dash pad towards the windshield has some fading. But is not noticeable when driving.
I love this car. I have enjoyed it for the last 4 years. It has been very dependable and a pleasure to drive. But I recently bought a 67 Wildcat I"m focusing on right now. Plus I have a 71 Mark III custom convertible. I may also consider selling. I don"t need 2 Mark III"s. I need garage space instead. So I am open to serious, respectable offers.
Please ask all questions before purchasing or making an offer. I will need to speak to any serious buyer before accepting an offer and removing the listing. * FYI I am old school. I do not use the app. Send me a message with your questions. I will check my messages as I can throught the day. I will get back to you asap. Thank you for your patience.*
Please have all funds available prior to purchase. Funds must clear my account before the vehicle and title are released. Depending on our banks. That may take 7-14 days.
