Vehicle description

I am regretfully selling my 1969 Mach 1. It is in need of a total restoration to make it nice and I just cant free up funds or time at this point. I bought the car about 10 years ago and about 6 years ago I went through the fuel system/carb, replaced all rubber brake components, engine gaskets and replaced the exhaust. I had it running and driving in 2016. There was only seats in the interior but it didn"t stop me from taking the kids for ice cream in it. I also taught my nephew to drive a stick with it.
Ok, the details: The engine and trans are not original. The 9" rear is original to the car. It has no power brakes or steering and still has the original 4-wheel drum brakes that I rebuilt. Previous owner welded floor patches and torque boxes in the car. The repairs are structurally sound but if I was going to keep it I would clean up the welds and seams. The repairs are for a driver and not a show car. There is some rust in rear frame rails (not that bad) and the rear lower panel. There is also rust in the front of the wheel wells. The rockers are good. Front frame is good. The panels may have glass in them but they are not awful. The doors are decent. The fuel tank needs replacing as it has swelled up for some reason. I was told the 302 engine was from a Shelby but I cannot confirm this. I couldn"t find any numbers on it but it may have been a replacement. It is in fact a Mexican block because when I took the pan off to replace the gasket I noticed the larger main caps. These are similar to the 289 hipo blocks minus the solid lifter valvetrain and screw in studs. The 3-speed manual transmission is period correct and shifted through the gears.
What you see is what you get. There is no carpet, no door panels, etc. I do have the rear speaker tray. I may throw in 4 styled steel wheels and other odds and ends depending on the selling price. It is not running at this time but I may get it running for serious buyers. It would probably need fuel system cleaned and a new battery. It is "barn find" (love that) dirty as it has been sitting since 2015. The picture of the car before it went to storage is the last pic.
I DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH OVERSEAS PURCHASES/SHIPPING. Nothing against overseas buyers but I am new to this type of sale. I will ONLY entertain deals made with certified bank checks or cash when vehicle is picked up. I strongly encourage people to come see the car. It isn"t a nice driver (they are $25,000) it isn"t a show car (they are $60,000) but it is a Mach 1. The hottest looking muscle car ever built.
