Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 Restomod is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for car shows. Vehicle Details This is NOT an original Boss 429. It was a Fastback with a 302. I did a complete rotisserie restoration on it. Thousands of hours spent in this car, making it an ultimate show winner. I always bring home a trophy from a show. When I built this car, I wanted something that I can take to the track and have fun with. But with almost 10 years and tons of money put in it, I didn't have the heart to race it. So, with 800 HP sitting under the hood, all I did was some short pull in the back of my sub-division. If you look up "K T Garage" in you tube, you will see some very cool videos of this car. There are lots of custom work that goes in to the car. The rear diffuser took me 6 months to build. It is one of a kind. You won't find it any where else. The side scoop is functional and dump air to the rear tire. The car has Classic Air and AC setup, but I disconnected the hoses in the engine bay to make it clean. I rather drive with the windows down and enjoy the sound of the V8! The car is set up with a C6, 3 speed transmission. The engine is Jon Kaase Boss 9. It has 520 cubic inch. dyno at 740 HP@6000 RPM and 800 HP@6500 RPM. Somehow I misplaced the paper on the 6500 RPM pull, but I have the 6000 RPM pull of you are interested. I would say more than 95% of the nuts and bolts are stainless steel. I used ARP where ever I can. The car is equipped with an Viper alarm system. I also wired in a kill switch that only I know where it is. And no, it is not the main power switch that you see in the trunk - It is for long term storage that you can completely cut off the power from the battery from the car. The car has EFI. That means you can start and go. No warming up and start right up every time! It is the biggest EFI Holley offers- stealth 4500. I never had the intension of selling this car. The only reason I am selling it is because I have 2 other show car projects that I am working on and this Mustang doesn't get much attention anymore. I am running out of room too! There are so much to say about the car. Below are some specs. If you have specific questions, please just ask! You can view the car if you are in the Houston area, but I will more likely will not let you test drive it, due to safety and liability. This car will get away from you real quick! I rather you do that when you own it and drive with your own insurance! $2500 deposit is due at the end of the Auction. Car must be picked up within 1 week after the auction ends 520 C.I.
