1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster Project. This Rare car was bought brand new by the seller on 5-1-1969, as shown on the original NJ Title. Seller and his wife used the car as a daily driver for about nine years and added 63,317 miles to it during that time. As life went on and the family grew the car was put into storage in their Garage, where it remained for the last 40 years. The owners plan was always to, someday revive/restore the car but that never happened. Recently it was decided that the car should be sold to someone that will bring it back to the road. The car is very complete and it will be sold with a small assortment of new and used parts that have been obtained over many years. The radiator has been removed in order to access the crank pulley and confirm that the original engine is not seized, all other ancillary parts are in place. Equipped with Original 5 Speed Manual Transmission. The car does have a few dents from use, rust in fenders, rocker panels and rear quarter panels. Interior floors, trunk lid, trunk floor, frame, hood, doors and door jambs appear solid. Interior is also very complete with some damage to the driver’s seat and cracks to the dash top and center arm rest. All gauges and switches are in place as is an original vertical AM radio. Interior door panels are very nice. A “Dynaplastics” hardtop is installed and the original soft top and frame is included, short and full Tonneau Covers are also included but the mice have done damage to the full Tonneau. Five original steel wheels are present and the old tires do hold air. I have many more photos of the car that will be provided upon request. Currently the brakes are stuck but we will do our best to get them free so the car can be flat bed towed.
