Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1969 Chevrolet Nova is an original. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Vehicle Details 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS 350 Manual 4 speed in original Burnished Brown paint. The car was parked by its original owner (southern California) in January of 1977. The car was parked in 77’ due to a blown head gasket. The car was purchased by Prosper Supercars in Texas in 2017, and completely gone through to make road worthy again. They pulled the engine and rebuilt it back to factory specs. Original double hump heads, 010 block, Original Starter, Alternator and Distributor all rebuilt. Motor stamp and VIN on stamp pad were not touched during the rebuild. They added a real GM 30-30 camshaft with the correct valve springs during the rebuild. The drive train on the car has completely been gone through. New factory suspension bushings, complete brake system rebuild, complete coolant system replaced with GM parts, Transmission (M20) and Rear End (12 bolt 3.73 posi) have been gone through with all new bearings and seals along with a new clutch and pressure plate. All five wheels and dog dish caps are original to the car and new Coker 14" Red Lines have been installed. The exhaust was replaced with a factory style 2 1/2" dual exhaust system running through Dynomax mufflers. It has a few Day 2 parts on the car from Day 2 (Sun Tach, SW Oil and Temp Gauges, Mr. Gasket Shifter. I purchased the car in the spring of 2020. It was in great running and driving condition. I have installed a new dash pad, and front seat covers/foam. The carpet and rear seat remain original. During my ownership, I have brought it to many shows, and received many compliments for its originality. Please note, this car has completely original body work and paint, therefore it has its bumps and bruises. Both lower fenders show minor rust. The rear quarters were attempted to be rolled back in the day and show defects. Trunk and floors are solid, with no rust. Documentation of the car is extensive, with a binder of receipts for all work completed/parts purchased. Included are the original California license plates with 1977 registration decal, owner’s manual, PROTECTO PLATE from Cabrillo Chevrolet in San Diego, Cal., State of California pink slip from 1969, temporary reg from 1969, and original build sheet. You’d be hard pressed to find an original 350 SS with 4spd with this type of documentation. The car is registered in New Hampshire, and I have the clean title in my name. Car runs and drives, ready for a cruise. Please feel free to reach out with questions. Exterior Interior Engine Download the Motors app
