Vehicle description
1969 chevelle ss l78 l89 or possible copo. High horse factory 4 speed car. I found this car several years ago sitting in a garage where it had been tucked away for years. Car was sold with no motor, trans or rear end. The owner had passed so no real info or history was known from the family. This car sold new in Charlottesville, va at Jim price Chevrolet. Car was lemans blue with black vinyl top and black bucket seat interior. Car has correct original front power disc brakes. Factory 6x7000 tachometer with gauges. Original wiring harness. Nice console. Interior only needs carpet and new door panels and rear shelf insert. Dash pad is nice gm almost nos, seats and headliner are nice. All floor pans and trunk pans solid. Car has all soft ray tinted windows. Car has nice gm front fenders, doors, trunk lid, and hood. Rockers are nice. Rear quarter panels need some work. Roof and window Chanels nice. Car comes with rebuilt m21 Muncie coded for a 69 chevelle. Has correct high horse drive shaft and 4 speed cross member. The rear is dated for the car but not original to the car and is a 12 bolt kk code 4:10 posi. Car has rally’s all the way around. I have some of the original engine pieces to include the 163 aluminum intake, gm 780 cfm carb, correct lower deep groove pulley, hp gm oil pan, timing cover. If you want a real factory solid lifter high horse 4 speed car this would be a great car to do. I am currently still researching trying to locate an early owner of the car to find the history of the car. Car very well may be one of the early copo cars. The earliest known documented copo was built the same time as this car and vin number very close too. This is a Baltimore plant built car. Please ask any questions or call. Your more than welcome to come out in person and inspect. I have a clear Virginia title in hand. Thanks for looking
