About this vehicle This 1969 AMC Javelin SST 4.2 is a modified vehicle. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for car shows. Seller"s Notes Car is ready to be driven. Very reliable. Vehicle Details Outstanding 1969 AMC Javelin SST. Everywhere I take this car, people flock to it and love it. It stands out from the crowd of Mustangs, Camaros, Chargers, etc. I own a few classic cars, and decided to let one go. But it wasn’t an easy decision. Runs, drives and sounds beautiful! Brakes were gone through before I got it, but I think they need bled. Car stops fine, and I just took it on a 2 hour round trip. You just have to give yourself time and space to stop. Exhaust tick from what appears to be drivers side exhaust manifold. Side exit exhaust roars and sounds awesome. I believe the engine was built up better than stock. New fuel pump. Excellent tires. Cragar wheels. Very good dark Gray interior. Currently has black seat covers. New under hood insulation mat. Just had the car buffed and color corrected professionally. Also had decals professionally installed. This car looks just like a vintage SCCA race car. Everyone who sees it asks “Do you race it?” Paint isn’t perfect. There’s some aging to the red paint upon close inspection. There’s a scuff on the blue paint on the drivers quarter that was touched up. Overall, it’s a very nice and presentable driver!
