1969 AMC AMX - sold as a roller - no engine/headers or transmission/shifter - I bought this car several years ago after it had sat for 14 years in a garage completely unassembled. Over the years the car has been repainted, new interior, posi differential installed, new exhaust, radiator rebuilt and electric fan added, new brakes, new shocks, trunk mount battery, new wheels and tires (just put on 3 weeks ago). The car was born green with tan interior and was a 290/4 speed car. I also replaced the steering sector with a manual box. The car does have tilt wheel. Solid floors and frames and troughs. I prefer the 1970 interior and had the seats reupholstered in the 1970 pattern and used the 1970 door panels as well. I added the super stock hood scoop but did not cut a hole in the hood for an air cleaner. The grill has a small crack in it but is overall in very nice condition. The car was just taken to cruise night or an occasional show. Never driven in rain, never even had out at night - always garaged. I took it in for an alignment and the front suspension is pretty well worn out. I will include everything to redo the front suspension (cost me $1000.00). Also, there was some bodywork flaws in the one front fender and the body shop is redoing it so the car will be available for pick up in a couple weeks. I do have it for sale locally as well.
