About this vehicle This 1968 Volkswagen Beetle (Pre-1980) is a project vehicle. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle needs work. Vehicle Details 1968 VW bug with 7 piece fiberglass narrow eyed baja kit. Body sprayed with Liner Extreme need liner for added protection. Underbody and frunk has undercoating applied. Engine is a1600 type 2, year unknown. New starter, points, and condenser. Cranks freely, not currently running. ATF in cylinders. Vehicle needs to be rewired and brakes should be replaced. Battery tray was rusted out. Previous owner replaced with a short pan. Inferior welding job, should be redone. Some cancerous rust on drivers door pillar as noted in pics. Heater boxes removed by will go with the car. EMPI exhaust snorkel not pictured but is included with sale. Clean texas title. Has not been on the road since 1988.
