End of description- kidding but it could for all intents and purposes be.This GT500 Convertible is one of just 402 produced in the 1968 model year. Per the Marti Elite report it is one of 157 . . total Shelby convertibles made in Lime Gold paint with black interior. The color combination is stunning. The Marti also outlines Shoulder Harness, Black Power Top w/Glass Backlite, Extra Cooling Package, Visibility Group, Wheel Lip Moldings, Power Disc Brakes, Power Steering AM Radio, Interior Décor Group and Tachometer and Trip Meter.Reviewing the awards this car has received since its complete, every nut and bolt, ground up restoration there are a number of them- ALL GOLD LEVEL. Judged in 2016 Mustang Club of America Gold at the regional in Myrtle Beach SC. Then on to the 2017 All Ford Show at Tulsa, OK where it receives Mid America Gold. Next it was 2017 Shelby American Automobile Club (SAAC) Gold at Indianapolis, Indiana. Finally, in 2017 it won Mustang Club of America Grand Nationals Gold in Overland Park, Kansas. The MCA Triple Crown Award was received for completing at GOLD LEVEL at three different venues, with different judges, all within a single show what, big deal, who cares.
