1968 SAAB Sonett II 4 speed V4 Solid Original #000684 of about 900 made
NO ZERO FEEDBACK BIDDERS .This is a rare and hard to find California-based 1968 Saab Sonett II V4 with manual 4 speed . I purchased this car some years back and have driven it minimally. It is a totally rust-free California car with solid rocker and body seams intact-feel free to bring your ice-pick. It is a running and driving car that was rallyed by the previous owner. Body is actually decent under all the decals , Interior is clean -ok dash no with no cracks but door weatherstrip is poor. The carpet behind the seats has been removed but easy to replace. All gauges are working except speedo. Windshield is cracked (see photos) Nothing is missing. It starts right up with only one pump of the gas. It is a low and small car but once inside the cabin feels great. Underside looks great, uni-body is rust free and fiberglass with no major cracks . If you know these cars-this is a great one to start with - either way its 1700lbs and can be pushed with one hand. It is being offered as-is. Original glass still in car (cracked windshield-see pics), side windows roll easily. It is still on a California Title , plate , and registration. I can not speak to how it drives long distance. I will throw in the factory service manual with the car. I have too many projects and not enough time. $500 due at close of auction - balance Bank check with title transfer
