About this vehicle This 1968 Pontiac GTO is a restored vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes $500.00 deposit, balance due in 7 days of sale. Located in Wheeling West Virginia. Vehicle Details 1968 Pontiac GTO. Real 242 car. Same owner for 31 years. Excellent running, driving, shifts smoothly.Rebuilt engine and four-speed Munci transmission. New clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing. Original engine long gone. Now has 1974 YH code 400 bored 30 over.Runs and drives very well, upgraded brake system with power booster and disc brakes, great rear brakes,newer front shocks, original rear axle, new bf Goodrich tires. No rust or bubbles on body. Two or three small nicks in paint/ no scratches at all. Over all a very good solid GTO ready to drive to its new home. I purchased this when I was just 18 yrs old. Sat in heated garage for many years before had the time and the money to restore. Gas gauge in-op, I believe it’s a ground, has new sending unit. Newer am/fm stereo w/ cd player in the trunk. Radio works when it wants. . 4 speaker system. Thanks for looking! Exterior Very clean rust free exterior/ Solid undercarriage trunk and floor pans new paint in 2018. Interior Nice clean interior with new front seat covers with foam, carpet, sail panels and headliner. Crack free dash, new center console.
