Vehicle description
1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertible, A weekend cruiser in very good condition, if it"s heads you want to turn, or receive complimentary, comments, nods and thumbs up from strangers, then this is your car. The car has a 400 Engine / 4 speed transmission (rare) with hood tachometer, power steering, power brakes. Engine is a highly desirable 1968 GTO YS code engine, 345 horsepower (stock), with high compression heads. This is the most high performance engine that Pontiac made in 1968. It was rebuilt approximately 64K miles ago. I was told mileage was reset to zero when rebuilt, and car does not show actual miles. Transmission is a 1974 Borg Warner T-10 4-speed (vintage GM muscle car). The car has lived it"s live in Arizona, California, and indoors in Texas so no rust issues.
