Up for sale is my 68 Pontiac Firebird. I had this up recently but the hood was still black, the hood has now been profesionaly painted and it looks very sharp. The odometer on the car is correct, I am the 3rd owner. The car was a factory 350 with Muncie M21 close ratio 4 speed, it now has a 500 HP stroked out 400 to 461, with Ram clutch connected to all new Muncie M22 wide ratio 4 speed. I purchased the car completely stock and have completely rebuilt from the ground up. The car is virtually rust free, floor is perfect and has never been messed with, paint job is 20 years old but has always been garaged and still shines like new, it is the only repaint the car has had and never wrecked. Battery is an optima and sits in the trunk directly over the rear end. The interior was almost completely redone all new sound proofing, new dash pad, new seat upholstery, new one piece high quality carpet etc. There is a small 3" repair in the headliner and some scratches on rear window, neither of witch are worth the hassle of replacement. Suspension and rest of drive train are all new including disc brakes all around and completely rebuilt original rear end with new Auburn limited slip. The engine is a late 67 400 block stroked out to 461, profesionaly built with all the best components, eagle crank, forged rods, forged racing pistons, edelbrock heads, RPM manifold, quick fuel 750 carb, Dougs headers, 2.5 inch exhaust thru flow masters etc. As you can see by the engine dyno sheet it made just under 500 horse and 570 torque, and that is at 6000 feet in Colorado Springs. Suspension includes BMR tubular upper and lower front control arms, BMR sway bar, new springs and bushings thru out, and Cal Trac traction bars.
