About this vehicle This 1968 Plymouth Fury III is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle needs work. Vehicle Details The Good: 5.7 hemi and 545rfe automatic conversion is complete with tune for motor done. Ford 9" narrowed rear end, Strange Nodular 3rd member posi with 31 spline axles. 4 wheel disc brakes with Wilwood 6 piston 12" up front with vented rotors. QA1 coil overs shocks on all four corners single adjustable out back and dual adjustable up front. Ride height is completely adjustable. Coil over conversion in place of rear leaf springs. Jegs ladder bar kit with Competition Engineering diagonal stabilizer bar. Detroit Steel wheels mob steel 18x8 up front 20x11 out back with new Toyo tires all around. Motor has forged Wiseco pistons and forged Scat rods. Heads are fresh and upgraded. All head work and balancing done by Harry's heads in North Sioux City and have all receipts for the work. Comp cam and Aeromotive in tank Phantom fuel pump. The Bad: Cam issue most likely a bad bearing but cam does not want to come out of the block so likely a complete tear down is required. I do have a brand new Comp cam of the exact same grind as what is in the motor. Door handles are shaved but doors still need poppers and new door hinge pins installed for better opening and closing. Some work will be required to completely have interior done like a boot on the floor shifter or a center counsel installed. This vehicle has been a project of mine for over 8 years and I have decided to sell it and move on to a project I have been wanting to do for a long time.
