Vehicle description

1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass. Professional frame off restoration and engine overhaul by Run Rite Classic Restorations in Michigan in 2007 with further improvements made during my ownership from 2017 to present. 4,426 miles since restoration/engine overhaul and showing on odometer. Original Olds Rocket 350cid engine (overhauled with mild performance cam), runs on unleaded gas, original #5 casting “high flow” cylinder heads, 395558-2 casting high nickel content block, 2bbl intake manifold, remanufactured high cfm Rochester 2bbl carb with properly operating choke, Jetaway two speed automatic transmission, 394139 casting O-Type rear end with 2.78:1 gears, powder-coated frame and underbody, boxed in factory traction control bars, all metal body, vinyl top, PS, power brakes converted to discs in front, factory complete R134 AC (recently repaired and blows cold) Recently installed: TCI Automotive Hi-Torque OEM style starter, new power steering pump, new aftermarket 3 point front seat belts, new water pump, thermostat, new fan clutch, new OEM style radiator, new mechanical fuel pump, sound deadening/insulation in doors, trunk and under dash, new aftermarket fuse expansion block/wiring to power new aftermarket analog oil/temp/volt gauge cluster, fuel psi gauge and an AEM digital air/ fuel ratio gauge (concealed in dash ash tray compartment to maintain factory OEM analog appearance) with Wide Band O2 Sensor, new dash bulbs, new “Rocket” emblem custom floormats, new battery, new 4 plus spare P245/60R14 BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires, new ceramic coated mid- length Hedman Headers, new 2.5” dual exhaust pipes with new Flowmaster mufflers that sound great and not obnoxiously loud. Upgrade this car as you desire as it continues to appreciate in value. It has a current inspection, clean title and is street legal. Approximately $70,000 in frame off restoration receipts and more since I’ve owned it over the past 5 yrs. I am selling to fund my 1984 K5 Blazer project. Although not a “hot rod”, this Cutlass is a beautiful classic car for automotive purists that appreciates originality or it would be a great candidate for a high performance resto-mod project. It is being sold as is with no warranty and few flaws. Extra parts- spare 2bbl carb, original radiator (leaks but can be repaired), 2 car covers, factory Olds manuals, binder of historical documents, receipts and other reference material. Please text or leave a voicemail if seriously interested in buying (not just seeing). No joy rides or unsolicited sales calls. Please come prepared to buy! Bill at
