Up for sale is a beautiful rare restored/original 1968 442 convertible. Car is numbers matching with a 400 Cubic inch 4 BBL engine. She has a W30 double snorkel ram air intake setup believed to be dealer installed. The interior is entirely original as seen in the photos because of the high level of care and preservation over the years. Car has 2000 miles since the extensive restoration, as can be seen by the photos included. The convertible top has been replaced (as it should be for a 50 year old car) and works perfectly via the electrical up/down switch on the dashboard. Car is rust free as is seen in the photos. Car starts right up and drives perfectly. All gauges work, tape deck stereo in glove box. Brand new period correct looking Coker radial tires. No expense spared in restoration, obviously, in this $65,000 restoration. If you want to restore the interior with fresh parts, no problem. Probably cost around $1,500. I left it as such because they are "only original once". I invite any SERIOUS bidder to inspect the car at an agreeable time and location.
