Vehicle Details MG MGB. I am the third owner of this B with close to 54,000 original miles on it. I have a binder of all servicing since 1968. Everything on the car is original. I changed out the hydraulics on the clutch which was a $12 part but kept the original for anyone interested in taking the car to original condition. The part can be repaired. The car is mechanically sound and the engine is pristine, as you can see. I am listing the car as GOOD by Hagarty's rating as it needs a new paint job. The previous owner had the front hood repainted but the body needs to be redone. There is no rust whatsoever on the chassis or underneath the car but some minor rust stains are starting to appear in a few places on the body, outside of the hood, as I keep the car under a NOAH cover. I have taken a picture of each door and on each there appears to be a little rust starting under the paint. The top has also been repaired where the roof supports rub when the roof is lowered or raised. I have also removed the lock from the trunk which is in good working condition but B's tend to have those locks get stuck so I pulled it temporality. Also, the driver's door needs a new spring for the opening latch inside. As you can see, by the inside of the trunk and the engine bay, the car is clean. Again, it is the outside that needs painting and as I'm getting older I do not intend to keep the car much longer, which precludes me from having it done. Doing the paint would double the price I am asking here. Having said that, I am open to offers.
