After 40 years in covered storage the car was removed and evaluated. The car has only two owners. In 2016 the engine was started and the car received a brake job and part of the exhaust system was replaced. In 2017 the car was once again started. That year a new carburetor rebuild kits were installed for both front and rear, a new starter was installed, new battery cables and two new 6 volt batteries were installed. A complete tune up kit was installed. Lubricants for all components including engine, transmission and rear end were replaced and coolant was replaced. The car was road tested prior to planned restoration. 2018 We began the restoration process. The doors, engine cover and trunk lid were professionally prepped for paint. At this point the worked stopped for a variety of reasons and I decided to go no further. There are a bunch of loose parts that would go with the sale including light fixtures, chrome trim, door handles and other small necessities. All glass is good. All kinds of good working parts on this car including the engine, transmission, rear end and spoke wheels.
