About this vehicle This 1968 Mercury Montego MX Convertible is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Seller"s Notes Buyer responsible for shipping Vehicle Details This is a very original Survivor type car that runs great and gets constant attention on the road. It has magnum 500 wheels with Mercury center caps in great condition, and brand new tires. The lights work. The power top works. The turn signals work. The wipers work. The horn works. The front carpet is not nice under the (original?) floor mat and the zipper is broken for the back window. The rear window itself is glass and fine.There is a tear in the driver’s seat. I do have original vinyl to repair it. The paint may be original (Saxony Yellow) and looks great but does have some crazing on the trunk and hood. The body of the car is straight and appears rust free except for a bubble under the paint on the right quarter (see picture). It has nice, newer dual exhaust system and sounds great. The floors and trunk seem to be in great condition. There is some rust underneath the car- see pictures. The actual mileage is not known but I do know this car was in climate controlled storage for many years. It has a clear Florida title in my name.
