About this vehicle This 1968 Mercury Montego MX Convertible is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Balance due before vehicle is picked up. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I will assist with loading, etc. Vehicle Details This is an original 1968 Mercury Montego MX convertible. This is a very rare survivor car with only approximately 120 known to still exist. This car was part of a large collection in a warehouse that was auctioned off after the owner passed away. Since I bought this car I have changed the fluids, added new tires, and just enjoyed it. I believe the paint is mostly original. I was told that the mileage of 8250 was original but there was no documentation of that as it had exceeded mechanical limits on the title. This car runs and drives great and is very straight. The carpet on the passenger side floor board is torn under the mat. There is also a tear on the driver side of the seat which is covered with tape (see pictures). All of the lights are working and the power top works as it should. The heater has been bypassed. This is a beautiful convertible that is constantly complimented on the road and at any stop.
