Vehicle description
Body and interior excellent, except for small dent on front passenger side front fender (see pics). The car is a 10 year restoration and has has been stored for the last six years. I gave it to my grandson six years ago and the engine failed with a spun main bearing (no blame). Kids do not know that you cannot rev these big old V-8s like the Hondas and Nissans. There is no engine or transmission (automatic) currently installed, however the original engine and tranny and an additional Ford 302 mounted on an engine test stand are included with the purchase. I have too many projects, so I do not want to do an engine rebuild and reassembly. The car is currently in WA state, but was originally a CA car. I bought there and brought it to the NW. Title is clear. Current registration is OR. I live in Astoria and my shop is across the Columbia River in Chinook, WA. Mileage is not relevant since the engine will need work. The transmission will require a new seal, due to a leak. All fixable. I converted the sequencing tail light from the mechanical unit to a computerized sequencer and upgraded the tail lights to LED. I converted the lift up headlights from the vacuum system to a 12V electrical lift mechanism from a Acura. They worked very well, but the connector pins corroded and the headlight lift system needs to be rewired. I have the schematic for the system and all the parts. The car has an upgraded sound system and security system. Seats, headliner, carpets and interior are as new with last restoration. Tires are as new, but purchased 6 years ago. Should be good for many years. All chrome pieces are present and in excellent condition. No rust on body or undercarriage. Chassis and wheel wells have been coated with rubberized sealant. Trunk deck and floor boards solid, no rust. With some love and a little effort, this car could become a very nice show piece. Thanks for looking. P.S. The Reserve Price is $10K. Any bid at or over $10K will ensure a final sale to the highest bidder between the Reserve and the Buy It Now Price. Good Luck!
