About this vehicle This 1968 Mercury Cougar is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle needs work and is not regularly driven. Seller"s Notes See above Vehicle Details 1968 cougar. Was a J code 302 manual transmission with power steering. Motor was changed to a strong running 351 Cleveland 4 barrel. With a 4 speed manual transmission. Motor sounds good. It need the fuel system cleaned to be a driver as it sat a few years. Has newer dual exhaust and some new brake parts. Clutch seams strong. In my Opinion it’s a very solid car. Will need some rust repair in each quarter and both front floors and possibly a spot in one rear floor. The frame front and rear is nice and clean original. The shock towers are nice. Factory red and black car. The door tag is missing. I have not run a marti report. A buddy thinks it’s a RX7 because of the seats I have no idea. Clean title.
