Original Meyers Manx Dune Buggies do not come up for sale often. When they do, they go for a lot because Bruce Meyers made his buggies to last a lifetime. Bruce invented the buggy body. The "M" tag Meyers Manx bodies are rare to go up for sale. Barrett-Jackson had one this year, and "M" code sell for $50,000. That Meyers Manx had the side pods fiberglassed into the body, not the way it came in 1968. I saw the Barret Jackson Meyers Manx in person. it was very nice, but in my honest opinion, this Meyers Manx is superior in many ways, engine, interior. . see below for details
Others have gone for a lot more. What I mean is the original 60"s made Meyers Manx Buggies. The 60"s Manx have a 10 digit Code body tag, starting with an "M".
Newer Meyers Manx body Buggies do not sell for as much, as they were not made in the 60"s. Those have a 4 digit body tag.
I will entertain serious offers, this is a rare Meyers Manx made in 1968. . original and gorgeous. . we do not "NEED" to sell it, and the buggy will only continue to go up in value.
The Buggy you see here is original 68 with original side pods. Originally finished in Yuma Yellow (Code 22S) not has a beautiful Copper finish with hand painted pin-striping in the Von Dutch style. Absolutely gorgeous pin-striping A 60"s gorgeous Buggy just waiting for a new owner to enjoy.
