About this vehicle This 1968 Land Rover Series II is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great. Seller"s Notes Any questions dont hesitate to message. Vehicle Details I have a 1968 series 2a that was just restored in December. it has the original rare 2.25, 5 bearing diesel engine that was serviced with matching codes, practically brand new gearbox, new clutch and totally new wiring throughout. Chassis was completely sanded down and repainted again with matching codes. The bulkhead was initially not in good condition however has been totally restored to former glory. No signs of rust throughout. We tried to keep as much originality as possible. It has a lot of rare pieces that add to the value of the car such as a safari roof(2 roofs to mitigate heat as seen in photo), original indicator and wiper system, "cherry button" lights, maltese cross grill, rare front bumper, cat flap and tailgate and more. trimmings have been galvanised.
