Vehicle description
Very solid California Hardtop 1968 Karmann Ghia. Lowered on drop spindles, turned spring plates, with factory disc brakes up front, and stock rear drums. New tires mounted on reproduction 4-lug gas burners. Runs and drives absolutely great. Has some rust bubbles in the rear deck lid, around the quarter panels, rockers, and one up front. Rust is not terrible by any means, and I would not label this car as even remotely rusty, but it will eventually need to be addressed. This is a perfect driver, that turns LOTS of heads. I"ve taken it to numerous local gatherings and shows, and it always gets a good reception. If you need any additional pictures, please ask, and I"ll be happy to oblige. Some housekeeping. . I"m a licensed dealer in the state of Florida. I deal in vintage cars, mostly Porsche, but whatever catches my eye, and this one caught my eye! That said, a dealer fee of $195 will be added to the final price. That"s a State of Florida requirement, not an East Coast Classic"s one, so there are no exceptions. Unless you are a dealer, and buying in your dealer name, all Florida residents must pay sales tax, and the car will be titled in your name. This is a no reserve auction. If you plan on bidding, plan on winning. Non-paying bidders will e reported to ebay and publicly shamed. Kidding on the publicly shamed, but not on being reported to ebay. These listings cost money to put up, and whenever someone does not pay, ebay doesn"t give you the money back. If you have questions or concerns about the car, please ask prior to bidding. All inspections are welcomed, but must be done prior to placing your bid. I will not allow the winning bidder to conduct an inspection after the fact. Don"t mean to sound like a jerk, but there are a lot of people on this site that think they can win an auction and then negotiate a car. Doesn"t work that way. A $500, non-refundable deposit is due IMMEDIATELY after winning the auction. Full payment is due within 3 days of winning the auction, or clicking "buy it now". Final payment is only allowed in cash, or via bank wire. I do not accept cashier"s checks. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up and transportation. I will help get it on the truck for you. Now that all that is out of the way, someone is going to get a great car. Honestly wish I didn"t have to sell it, but I"m getting rid of my personal cars (per the state I have to sell through the dealer) to make room for a new one. I will also be posting a 1982 Porsche 911 shortly, and maybe even my crazy cool 1957 Chevy townsman (not sure yet), which will also be offered at no reserve.
