Up for auction is my 1968 Mustang Fastback, red with white C stripe, black interior, 289 V8 4-barrel edelbrock carburetor, 3 speed manual transmission, I’ve owned this car for over 20 years, I drive it in the spring and summer and keep it garaged with the master mechanic over the winters and during that time I’d do an upgrade and he’d keep the engine running smooth. Lots of new parts, new clutch, alternator, fuel pump, starter, battery, new tires,15-inch rims, updated to LED, signals, brake lights, taillights, Lucas Fog Lights, Shelby Drop, upper/lower control arms, drum brakes kept up, interior lights, the mustang has a front end ground up restoration, shock towers, rails etc., drives solid, runs very good no issues. I keep this can updated with the expert mechanic and he keeps it running very well. I like to start it up and keep it running at least once a month to make sure the carburetor jets are flowing to ensure no gunk buildup it keeps it healthy from my experience. Regular oil changes as done by me, it has had front-end alignments when it got new tires 2019 and another when I updated the upper lower control arms/ Shelby drop 2020, car has a battery maintainer to keep batter changed during offseason, Included is the sheet metal to fix the quarters, I was going to get this quarter fixed but needed to fix the clutch and keep the can running smooth, I have the original blue 289 air cleaner, sometimes I like to change between the 289 high performance chrome scoops. Tiers are new from 2019 Front: P205/60R15 Rear: P225/60R15New Exhaust: Flowmaster American Thunder #17281Clutch and flywheel is newer from 2019.Back in 1998 – the flooring replaced; the engine compartment restored including the shock towers both sides new metal and rails. See picture. All the lights, taillights, signals, parking lights, reverse lights, fog lights, hood scoop signals, interior lights, horn work great. Things that do not work: Speedometer is off by a few MPH, the heater is disconnected, along with the heather core in the engine compartment, the parking brake needs fixed, the cable came lose this year, there is no wiper fluid compartment, so it is does not spray cleaner on the windows. Other items, the paint is over 30 years old, up close you can see some scratches, these is rust on the quarters and the rockers see pictures, a coupe small dents 1 on the hood, 3 like hail damage, not very noticeable.
