About this vehicle This 1968 Ford Mustang is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle needs work. Seller"s Notes Please ask all questions befor bidding. Cars available to view in person. Car is also for sale locally and reserve the right to an auction at any time. Vehicle Details 1968 mustang coupe v8 with C4 automatic transmission. Code: T5 body: 65A trim: 7D date: 26A New body panels (inner fenders, engine bay, outer panels, etc. ), beautiful paint work, rebuilt engine and transmission are in place. Car Just needs finishing touches. Car is an unfinished Restoration. All of the difficult bodywork, replacing panels and paint work is already complete. Original restorer passed away before completion. Have an folder full of thousands of dollars worth of receipts of parts and work done to this car to restore it. As far as I know everything is in the car to complete it this car is full of parts both new and used. Finishing Parts in the trunk and inside the car. Interior: Car has new black carpet, new headliner, new Dash, new door panells, new seat covers (covers still need to be put on front seats). All lighting looks new, several boxes full of new itmems such as handles, badges, gaskets, wiring, and more. I do not the the time to inventory everything. Buyers are welcome to view in-person before bidding. Engine: Is a well built 289 not sure if it’s original, lots of receipts for engine components and work. Seller claimed engine was completely rebuilt and has never ran since being installed. Intake,carburetor and all external components look to be brand new and have not yet been hooked up. Transmission is a rebuilt C4 that is also installed. Radiator is new and not hooked up. Engine and car are not currently running or driving as all components have not been hooked up. Steering is hooked up. I do not see a brake master cylinder and would assume brake system is not installed yet. Paint: The paint is absolutely beautiful the car has very clean lines and clean gaps. The color and clear coat are stunning. The interior was painted as well. The paint job under the hood and trunk are beautiful and of show quality as well. There are some (very few) minor flaws and nicks here/there from storage. overall beautiful condition. I do not see exhaust or headers. The wheels are off a 90’s mustang and are just for looks. Also have a set of stock steel wheels to put on for transport. Great opportunity to complete a top grade restoration. $500 non refundable deposit due within 24hrs of auctions end.
