Vehicle description

Up for auction here today is a 1968 Dodge Tradesman A120 A100 van. It is the windowless version with side access. It has a running 318 motor (previous owner had it running) and a 3 speed automatic transmission. It is very clean for it"s age and shows minimal rust and, moreover, all rust is mostly surface rust. This van has been in the desert most of its life and it was likely in southern California at one point in its life, judging by a door frame oil change sticker. It is complete and has all trim, bumpers and handles. It is missing the doghouse engine cover (sides, top and back- front is there) and the two seats. This version did not come with any rear seats as this is the cargo version van. Floors and undercarriage are in excellent shape, as you can see from the pictures. The van steers with no issues. Linkages from the dash shifter all there and functional and goes into gear great. Brakes do not work, but I"d change the master cylinder along with the wheel cylinders. There are new brake shoes for one axle included in the sale. Keys are in it, but it is missing its title. Per previous owner, the title is free and clear, but missing. Option in for title status excludes the missing option, so I opted for clear title designator because of what previous owner told me. Please note that this comes with bill of sale only.
This was going to be a project van for the kids and for high school, but they immediately disliked it (broke my heart). One of my sons called it the Bang Bus, so that was an immediate red flag for me, too (WTH). This would make a killer shop truck and cruiser. All windows are intact and not cracked and they roll up and down easily. Missing battery. Old alternator is in the back of the van; will likely need a new one installed. The gas tank will need to be dropped for cleaning, too. Killer, killer vehicle. Mufflers and tailpipe sections are there. Doors open and close smoothly. The two front doors need lubrication and adjustment (driver sticks a little). Steering wheel needs center hub, but all there. Dash and instrument cluster in good shape. Visors all there and nothing on the exterior is really missing (except the gas cap). Passenger door needs the interior door panel. The roof has zero damage from what I can tell (see pictures). This little van is in amazing shape. Has the original AM radio.
I can deliver this within 300 miles of here for $1.20 per loaded mile = I can meet you somewhere between you and I and save you about eight hours of driving. Otherwise, buyer responsible for shipping.
