Vehicle description
PROJECT TRUCK WITH BILL OF SALE. No title. The VIN matches throughout.
This is a 1968 Dodge D100 with Utiline body style which requires completion on the build. I bought this for the farm but after looking it over carefully it was too good to use it for that purpose. So I decided to rebuild it and have it for a daily driver. I dont have the time to complete it.
The frame and body have been sand blasted, primer and paint were applied to the frame and primer only to the body. Since the engine purchased with it was no good, I replaced the Engine,Transmission and Rear end with a drive line from a 1987 Dodge Royal 250, which had 36k miles on it. ( I drove home ). ( A tornado did this vehicle in ) The engine was cleaned, timing chain, seals and re-gasketed. An Edelbrock Air Gap intake is installed. Body work started with replacing the front floor boards due to rust ( swiss cheese ) at the body mount areas; continuing, the bed rebuild was done in 1 1/8" plywood, very strong. Front seat has been reupholstered in heavy duty vinyl and theres additional material to complete the overhead, color cream. Tires look brand new and they have 0 miles on them but they are very old, one tire has a side blemish. The rims are from a Ford with spacers, with hub caps included. The glass is original, NO windshield. Front brakes have been partially converted to power disc.
Major items I know are NOT included. Some of these items are as the builder prefers, trans shifter, electric fan and so forth. You install whatever you want. NO TITLE Bill of Sale Carburetor Driveshaft Radiator and fan Windshield Parking brake Transmission shifter Electrical system Power Brake system. Interior
Body work must be completed including cab mounting and drive train, finish brake system, there is a complete parking brake system however I didnt want to cut the body.
As with any old vehicle you should have an inspection conducted. You need to ascertain the function ability and safety of each system. You are responsible for the shipping in whatever method you choose.
I started painting the truck green. .NOBODY liked it. .! Like anything else if have questions ask.
