1968 Dodge Charger. H code - 383 4 bbl HP version. Power Steering, power (drum) brakes, A/C. Engine recently rebuilt as was the transmission (727 floor shift). QQ1 paint code - one repaint better than factory. No rust anywhere. All numbers match - Sales order number matches on radiator support, fender tag, and build sheet, VIN number match on dashboard tag, engine, and transmission. As far as I can tell the 71K miles is accurate - brake pedal doesn"t show much wear at all, seats are hardly worn, etc. Aftermarket door upper pads (there is no "Charger" emblem) - I don"t know where they came from but they look fine. Fender tag decodes as: Code # 2 = 5 - drip rail mouldings Axle ratio 4 = 3.23 ratio non-posi R = 6 - vinyl bucket seats M = B - interior color light blue PNT = Q - bright blue metallic Optional Codes: A = 1 - 26" radiator H = 1 - power brakes P = 6 - rear seat speaker R = 1 - AM radio S = 1 - air conditioning X = 1 - tinted glass (all) a = 6 - console b = 4 - bucket seats h = 7 - fender/hood mounted turn signal indicators k = 7 - passenger outside manual mirror m = 6 - driver"s outside remote operated mirror All options on fender tag shown and in car are present and accounted for. There is a white tail stripe on the car which it didn"t come with from the factory (it is vinyl and can be removed). Also the section above the rear bumper is painted black which it shouldn"t be from the factory. A/C needs to be recharged - the system works but I"m not qualified for R12 and don"t want to switch over the system to R134. Car has aftermarket 15 inch wheels and near new 225/60-15 in front and 275/60-15 tires in rear. Wipers not working currently (I do not drive it in the rain). Rear axle seeps a bit, no leaks but there is very minor seepage. Aftermarket water temp and oil pressure gauges because I don"t trust the originals - original wiring remains if you want to hook those back up with new sending units. Steering wheel (original) is not perfect. All lights and horn works (even the ignition key light and the trunk light). Not many of these around.
